How is this different from skin micro-needling?

The technique is similar, but protocols, depth, and serums are tailored for the scalp and hair follicles rather than facial skin concerns.

Can it be combined with PRP or exosomes?

Yes — micro-needling is often used to improve absorption of regenerative treatments. Your trichologist will advise on the best order and spacing.

How much downtime is there?

Mild redness or sensitivity on the scalp for 24–48 hours is common. Your clinician will explain washing and product restrictions after treatment.

Who may not be suitable?

Active scalp infection, certain skin conditions, and some medications may affect suitability. We review this at consultation.
